TRANSFERS, AMENDMENTS AND DELETIONS FOR DOMINICA

At any time a Ship owner may sell a Dominica registered vessel to other persons, juridical or natural, Dominican or foreign, or transfer the vessel to the flag and registry of another country.

A deletion certificate is issued after confirmation that the vessel is free from registered mortgages or encumbrances and in good standing with DOMINICA MARITME REGISTRY.

The ownership of a Dominica registered vessel is transferred by a Bill of Sale.

In case of loss of original license, change of vessels name, or alteration of vessel's structure, new patents of navigation will be issued by DOMINICA MARITIMES REGISTRY.

In case the vessel is mortgaged, the notarized consent of the mortgage parties is required prior to issuance of new/amended patents or deletion certificates.
