MARITIME RADIO STATIONS FOR BELIZE

The call signs/letters for Belize flag vessels are assigned when the vessel's provisional patent of navigation is issued. IMMARBE will issue a provisional ship radio station license valid for six months. Various worldwide radio accounting organizations are recognized by the Registry. Vessels under 300 GT are not required to appoint a radio accounting authority.

Prior to expiry of the six months provisional radio station license, owner may obtain a permanent ship radio station license for the vessel. MMSInumbers and INMARSAT registration numbers are issued by IMMARBE on request.
